The official presentation of the ship was the 30th September, 2013. The ceremony was leaded by the President of Argentina, Ms Cristina Kirchner and her Uruguayan equal. The new ship, was baptized "Francisco Papa" (Pope Francisco) as an homage to the pontiff, it will connect Buenos Aires with Montevideo and is one of the first of its kind regarding reduction of damaging emissions.

El nuevo buque, bautizado "Francisco Papa" en homenaje al pontífice, es pionero a nivel mundial en reducción de emisiones nocivas, une las ciudades de Buenos Aires y Montevideo.
