The stamp is based in the painting The Annunciation of Sarah by the artist José Gurvich. It is the first joint stamp issued by Uruguayan Philately and a country from outside the region in 157 years. In this sense, Uruguayan Post considered this stamp as an "acknowledgement to the past and a milestone for the future".

El sello esta basado en la obra La anunciación de Sara del artista José Gurvich. Es el primer sello conjunto lanzado entre la Filatelia Uruguaya y un país no perteneciente a la región en 157 años. En este sentido, desde el Correo se caracterizó al sello como "un reconocimiento al pasado y un mojón hacia el futuro".
